The maids are busy in the kitchen. Jing Ci steals the wine from the kitchen. She looks around and she finds out that there’re many guards. She sees the beauty Lian Er who dressed up. She sees her off and she thinks she’s a cold beauty.
Jiang Ci climbs to the tree to drink wine. She decides to go to pick up the Spiritual Coffin Flower after she saw Jianding Marquis. A masked man shows up. We learn that he’s Wei Zhao. He lands on the tree and he covers Jiang Ci’s mouth.
He cuts her dress with his knife. He learns that she’s a Moon Fall person. He feeds her the Duanchang Herb. He tells her that he will keep her life if she doesn’t move. The officer Teng Rui shows up. Jiang Cai learns that Wei Zhao plans to kill Teng Rui.
Teng Rui sits on the stage. Jiang Ci thinks she can only flee after she makes Wei Zhao guard down. Jianding Marquis Pei Yan shows up. Teng Rui lets the general cast the tea to Pei Yan. Pei Yan takes over the tea. He apologizes to Teng Rui for his late.
Jiang Ci praises Pei Yan. She asks Wei Zhao if he agrees to what she said. She offers to worship him if he releases her. But he threatens to cut off her tongue. The messengers of two nations have a seat. The peace talk begins. Lian Er dances.

Teng Rui is very happy after he watched Lian Er’s show. She pours him a drink and she asks him to drink it. But the general stops Lian Er. He persuades Teng Rui to test the wine first. The doctor tests the wine and he reports to the general that the wine isn’t poisonous. Teng Rui takes over the wine when he blames General Lei for not cherishing beauty.
