Sword and Fairy 4 introduces Han Lingsha as a thief in episode 1. Who is Han Lingsha? Here is what we know.
A Good Thief
Han Lingsha comes from thief family. She thinks she’s a good thief because she only stole the treasures of bandits. But she goes against her conscience for the first time for saving her family. Her boss Xuan Ying promises her that he will give the medicine to her if she helps him get Wangshu Sword.
She goes to Blue Bird Mountain to look for the sword. She runs into Yun Tianhe who mistakes her as a Pig Monster. She goes to his parents’ cave. She finds out that the sword he’s holding is Wangshu Sword. She touches the sword by mistake.
She activates the sword. She plans to steal the sword. But she feels dizzy when she touches the sword. She has to trick Yun Tianhe to leave Blue Bird Mountain. But he rejects it because he promised his father not to leave the mountain. She reminds him that he will know his parents’ story if he leaves the mountain. He agrees to it.
Teaching Yun Tianhe How to Live in the Mortal World
It’s Yun Tianhe’s first to step in the mortal world because he hasn’t left Blue Bird Mountain since he was born. He doesn’t know he should pay when he takes the food. Han Lingsha pays it for Yun Tianhe. She teaches him that there’s no free dinner.
They arrive at Peaceful Village. The villagers arrange a drama for Yun Tianhe. It shows that Yun Tianhe’s father is a bad person. The villagers change their minds after Yun Tianhe helped them defeat the monster. They volunteer to give him food and prepare the room for him letting him sleep. Yun Tianhe plans to stay in the village. But Han Lingsha told him not to do that. Because she thinks he should have pride because he’s a man.
Yun Tianhe Trusts Han Lingsha
Yun Tianhe trusts Han Lingsha so much. But he doesn’t know she wants to steal his sword. She lets him go to Shouyang City with her. She tells a lie to him that her friend knows something about the sword. She actually plans to let Xuan Ying take away the sword so that she can get the medicine to save her family.
But she asks Xuan Ying not to hurt Yun Tianhe. Yun Tianhe stands in the street because Han Lingsha told him not to move. Murong Ziying invites Yun Tianhe to go to another place to have a talk. But Yun Tianhe rejects it because he promised Han Lingsha not to move.
Morong Ziying has to buy him a bowl of tofu. Han Lingsha worries about Yun Tianhe. She shows up when Xuan Ying tries to take away the sword. She introduces Xuan Ying as her friend to Yun Tianhe. She asks Yun Tianhe to let her friend take a look at the sword. Yun Tianhe gives his sword to Xuan Ying. But Xuan Ying is hurt by the sword.
