This is the Recap for A Journey to Love: Episode 16. Zheng Qingyun takes Yang Ying to flee. Yang Ying is against it because she worries about Du Changshi and Sun Lang. She thinks she shouldn’t flee. But he tells her not to go to look for the trouble.

Yang Ying claims that it’s her group. She tries to go back. But Zheng Qingyun stops her. He reveals he stunned Sun Lang because Sun Lang thought he’s the partner of the bandits. She thinks he misunderstood Sun Lang. But he shows his wound to her.
He tells her that Sun Lang stabbed him. He blames her for scolding him. She tries to take a look at his wound. But he shakes off her hands. He thinks she shouldn’t care for him because his body is lowly. She apologizes to him. But she points out that she should care for others.
He reminds her that they have lost the gold. He thinks they cannot save Emperor Wu. But she still wants to go to An Kingdom to take back Emperor Wu because it’s her duty as the princess of Wu Kingdom. Zheng Qingyun tells Yang Ying that the only one who cares for her is him.

Zheng Qingyun asks Yang Ying to look at his eyes. He asks her if she wishes to be his wife. She nods. He’s happy to hug her to spin around. He tells her that he hasn’t been happy in his life. He swears not to let her down. She stops him when he curses himself.
He kisses her and he tries to sleep with her. But she stops him because she thinks they shouldn’t do that. He persuades her that he will be nice to her. But she hits his belly with her fist. He wonders when she learned martial art.
She promises to marry him. But she wishes to do it with an engagement. She persuades him to go back with her. He chases her and hugs her. He wonders why she thinks about the people. He tries to kiss her. Yuan Lu kicks Zheng Qingyun away. He puts his knife on his neck. He thinks Zheng Qingyun kidnapped Yang Ying. Yang Ying asks Yuan Lu to release Zheng Qingyun when she tells him that he misunderstood the guy. Yuan Lu is sick. He tries to take his sugar pill. But Zheng Qingyun catches the chance to stab Yuan Lu.
