Qian Heng Mistakes the Salesgirl As Cheng Yao

Qian Heng walks out of his room. He finds out that Cheng Yao is sleeping on the couch. He wakes her up. She explains to him that she didn’t intend to sleep there. She explains to him that she fell asleep when she tried to cook for him.
He asks her to leave his house. But she wishes him to give her a ride. He rejects it. She decides to leave after she washes her face. She runs to the bathroom. He wonders if he fell asleep because of her. He doesn’t believe it. Yu Fei hands over the case to Cheng Yao. He reveals the case was given by Qian Heng.
Bao Rui volunteers to help Cheng Yao when she reads the case. He lets her join the rich group. Qian Heng plays the music. But he cannot sleep. He hires an aunt to cook for him. But the aunt resigns because he asked her to make sound.
Qian Heng is on the way to his company. He passes by the convenience store. He mistakes the salesgirl as Cheng Yao. He wakes her up. Cheng Yao gets a call from the real estate agent. She apologizes to him that she cannot come to see him because she’s very busy.
Qian Heng Falls Asleep Because of Cheng Yao
Qian Heng arrives at the company. He finds out that Cheng Yao is working. She’s surprised to see him. She mistakes that he came to work overtime. He pinches her face. He leaves the medicine for colds on her desk. He goes to his office.
She thinks he’s a good person. She decides to cook noodles. She invites him to eat the noodles with her. But he rejects it and he asks her to leave his office. He falls asleep when she cooks. Tan Ying watches Qian Heng. She’s surprised that he fell asleep in his office.
Yu Fei thinks Qian Heng was tired. Cheng Yao thinks Qian Heng has a reason to be tired because he worked overtime each day. Cheng Yao explains to Tan Ying that she worked overtime yesterday. Tan Ying and Yu Fei take a photo a Qian Heng. Wu Jun drives them away.
Wu Jun tells the employees that he’s going to throw a party for the new employees. He lets Cheng Yao take her older sister. Qian Heng remembers Cheng Yao invited him to eat with her. He’s surprised that he fell asleep because of her. Wu Jun shows up. He thinks it will strengthen feelings if Qian Heng loses face in front of the colleagues.

Episode 3 of My Boss 2024 ends with Qian Heng waking Cheng Yao up when she falls asleep in his car. He tells her to go to drink the hangover tea. She thinks he’s a good boss. But he asks her to unclog the sewer. She announces that he cannot be saved.
