This is the review for My Lovely Liar K-Drama: Episode 9. Hyang-Sook walks into the cafe. She ignores Chi-Hoon when he tries to stop her. Cassandra greets Hyang-Sook. She tells the madam that Sol-Hee isn’t at the cafe. Hyang-Sook takes off her sunglasses. She asks Cassandra if her daughter is seeing someone.
Do-Ha Kisses Sol-Hee
But Cassandra tells Hyang-Sook that Sol-Hee never told her personal life to her. Hyang-Sook complains to Cassandra that he has failed to sleep because of the guy. She worries that Sol-Hee fell for a handsome guy. She tells Chi-Hoon that she made a mistake when she was young.
Hyang-Sook tells Chi-Hoon that she chose Sol-Hee’s father based on his looks. She thinks she was a fool. Hyang-Sook wonders if Sol-Hee inherited her taste. The writers of a TV show come to Tae-Seob when he’s chopping the woods. They want to interview him.
But Tae-Seob tells the writers to leave. One of the writers cries to tell him that they’re going to pass out because they didn’t have breakfast. He stops chopping and he decides to cook noodles for them. Sol-Hee wakes up. She finds out that Do-Ha is sleeping.
Sol-Hee strokes Do-Ha’s hair. She thinks he’s very handsome. She tries to leave. But she trips after she stepped on the remote. She falls to his knees. She watches the TV and sees the couple doing barbecue. She wants to do it as well.
Yeon-Mi calls Do-Ha. But he doesn’t pick up her phone because he’s watching the TV. Mr. Yoo runs into Yeon-Mi. He asks her if she prepared for the TV debate. He reveals he was nervous. But she points out that he was a spokesman. The party leader shows up. He tells the two to have a meal together for showing the healthy competition.
The party leader tells Yeon-Mi to congratulate Mr. Yoo on getting nominated. He leaves with Mr. Yoo. Yeon-Mi sees the two off with anger. Do-Ha takes Sol-Hee to a camp ground. He mentions she wanted to do it. But she points out that they didn’t prepare for it before they came.
Sol-Hee complains to Do-Ha that they came to the place empty-handed. She thinks they need good equipment. She mentions the people prepared everything. He tells her to wait for a while. The truck comes with the full set. It’s evening after Do-Ha set up the tent.
Do-Ha grills the meat for Sol-Hee. She thanks him for preparing it for her. He wonders why she decided to trust him since what he said looks like a lie. She reveals she chose to ignore her ears that she has trusted. She thinks he’s her fate when she smiles to look at him.
The squad chief detective tells Gang-Min to go to catch the culprit. Gang-Min thinks of Sol-Hee. Police Officer Hwang joins Gang-Min. He notes that he’s in a bad mood. Gang-Min tells Police Officer Hwang not to care for his mood.
Do-Ha confesses his feelings to Sol-Hee. He kisses her. Deuk-Chan’s wife gets a message from a guy Seo-Jun who tells her that he misses her. She takes a look at Deuk-Chan when he’s eating. She promises the guy that she will call him after Deuk-Chan falls asleep.
Eom-Ho Kidnaps Syaon
Deuk-Chan’s daughter cries. His wife carries the baby away. He finds out that his wife cheated on him when he cleans the table. Cho-Rok drinks at the bar. O-Baek grabs the wine from her. He tells her not to drink. She decides to go to another bar when she’s drunk.
O-Baek asks Cho-Rok if she’s upset because the guy didn’t ask her for a second date. He wonders why she looks like that she has seen the guy for three years. She cries to tell him that she loves the guy very much. He doesn’t expect that she loves the guy so much. He mentions they had spent three months to have a kiss.
Cho-Rok tells O-Baek to lower his voice because she worries that others will hear their secret. So he plays the music. She begins to dance. He joins her. Bo-Ro sees their dancing. Syaon drinks at a bar. The waiter takes a look at her. She admits to him that she’s Syaon. She asks him not to stare at her.
The guy joins Syaon. He claims that he approaches her as a man. He wants to buy her a glass of wine. She complains to him that guys always approach her. She claims that she said so as a woman. He thinks there’re many men liking her.
Syaon tells the guy that there’s a man who doesn’t like her. She wants to win him over. She reveals the man likes her as a singer. She decides to sing for the man. She takes a look at the singer. The singer walks to Syaon. She hands over her microphone to her. Syaon begins to sing.
Police Officer Hwang and Gang-Min are waiting for the culprit. Police Officer Hwang watches the show about Eom-Ji’s case. He asks Gang-Min if he saw the culprit in real life. He hears the culprit is very handsome. Gang-Min tells Police Officer Hwang that the guy is just a suspect.
But Police Officer Hwang mentions the girl’s blood was found on the culprit’s clothes. Gang-Min mentions the girl’s brother is looking for the suspect. Police Officer Hwang shows the suspect’s photo to Gang-Min. Gang-Min finds out that the suspect is Do-Ha.
Gang-Min calls Sol-Hee. But she doesn’t pick up his phone. He texts her and asks her to text him back. Do-Ha and Sol-Hee return home when they hold hands. They part. She gives him a kiss before she gets into her house. Jin-Soo watches Syaon’s show. He thinks the singer got dumped.
Eom-Ho finds Jin-Soo. He asks him about Do-Ha’s whereabouts. Jin-Soo tells Eom-Ho that he can find Do-Ha if he finds Syaon. Syaon’s manager takes Syaon to leave the hotel. He takes her to the parking lot. He wants to take her home. But she rejects it because she thinks she can go home on her own.
Syaon gets kidnapped by Eom-Ho. He asks her about the whereabouts about Do-Ha. She tells him that she doesn’t know it. He grabs the bag from her. He takes out the phone from her bag. He asks her to call Do-Ha. She realizes that he was the one who wanted to kill Do-Ha. Eom-Ho asks Syaon to call Do-Ha. But the beauty wants to die for Do-Ha. He has to call Do-Ha on his own.
My Lovely Liar Episode 9 Review
The episode 9 of My Lovely Liar arranges a kiss for us. It follows the rule of k-drama that every 8 episodes should have a kiss. It proves that Sol-Hee and Do-Ha are dating. But others are not luck. Deuk-Chan finds out that his wife cheated on him. Do-Ha’s mother lets her competitor to win. Syaon gets kidnapped by Eom-Ho. It seems that Syaon intended to let Eom-Ho kill her. So she went to the hotel to sing. Syaon is a good girl but she chooses a man she shouldn’t love.
