What Makes Yoon-Young and Hae-Joon Leave Good Memories to Their Families?

Hae-Joon comforts Yoon-Young that he will fix it when she stares at him. She wonders if he invented the time machine car when he’s driving. He nods and confesses to her that he just found the car. She laughs. Byung-Goo goes to Hyung-Man’s house. He rings the bell.
Byung-Goo walks into Hyung-Man’s house. He tries to talk with Hyung-Man. But Ok-Ja tells Byung-Goo to leave. She’s furious to push him. He gets on his knees to the couple. He apologizes to them for not raising his son well so that they lost their daughter.
Byung-Goo promises to let himself suffer. He walks out of Hyung-Man’s house. Hyung-Man follows Byung-Goo. He thanks him for tell the sins of his son to people. He returns to his house and closes the door. Yoon-Young and Hae-Joon return home.
Yoon-Young tells Hae-Joon to get drunk with her. She goes to the bar with him. He complains to her that he didn’t fix the time machine. But she thinks it’s not a bad thing because they have to work if they go home. She mentions the grilled eels only cost two dollars.
But Hae-Joon doesn’t have two dollars. Yoon-Young asks him if he wishes her to pay the bill. She knows he’s very rich. He tells her that he didn’t take two much money because he didn’t plan to stay at the place too long. She comforts him that they’re healthy.
Yoon-Young thinks they won’t be poor because they know their future. She wonder how did Hae-Joon found the time machine. He reveals he found the time machine in a rain day. She thinks the time machine was looking for him. He leaks that someone called him and told him that he’s the only one who can resolve the problem before he crashed her.
Hae-Joon thinks the person knows him. He walks on the bridge with Yoon-Young. She’s happy because she’s staying with the man she likes. She tells him that she’s fine if they cannot go home. He smiles to hold her hand when he doesn’t give her an answer.
Hae-Joon sees Yoon-Young when he’s studying the time machine. He walks to her and mentions she hit his head after she had told him that she wishes to stay in the village with him. She admits to him that she wishes to go back to 2021 to enjoy the modern life.
Soon-Ae is in front of the bookstore. She feels happy after knowing the readers like her book very much. The reader asks Soon-Ae to sign her autograph on the cover. Yu-Ri asks Soon-Ae if she doesn’t come to the school because of them.
Soon-Ae denies it. She promises to come to the school. The classmates walk away. Soon-Ae tells Yoon-Young that she feared it when the classmates told her to see them at school. But she doesn’t fear it anymore. She gives her the present.
Yoon-Young finds out that the present is a book. She asks Soon-Ae to give her autograph to her. But Soon-Ae tells Yoon-Young that she has done it. She lets her open the book. Yoon-Young finds out that Soon-Ae labeled her as her closest friend.
Yoon-Young is moved to hug Soon-Ae. She tells her that it’s the best present she got. She tears up. Dong-Sik asks Hae-Joon if he knows how to fix the car. Hae-Joon denies it. Dong-Sik reveals Byung-Goo told his son to confess. He thinks there’s nobody on Byung-Goo’s side.
Hae-Joon goes to Byung-Goo’s house. He sees the mess outside. He learns that people blamed Byung-Goo for raising a murderer. He thinks Byung-Goo shouldn’t let the gate open because he worries that someone will hurt him. Byung-Goo points out that there’s nobody who’s more dangerous than his son.
Byung-Goo thinks Hae-Joon hates his families because they’re terrible. Hae-Joon admits that he intended not to say goodbye to his families. Byung-Goo thanks Hae-Joon for not doing so. Because he wants to see him. Hae-Joon thinks Byung-Goo should hate him because he let him suffer.
But Byung-Goo tells Hae-Joon that he feels thankful. He thinks he wouldn’t fix it if it wasn’t because of him. He apologizes to him for letting him see him doing something shameful. He thinks he was lucky to tell it to him 30 years earlier.
Hae-Joon returns home. Yoon-Young is waiting for him. She asks him where he went. He tells her that he went to see someone. He sits with her. She notes that he looks depressed. He mentions there was a person who has endured for 30 years.
Yoon-Young realizes that Hae-Joon went to see his grandpa. He explains to her that he doesn’t regret for what he did. She tells him that she understands his feelings. She realizes that it’s their chance. She thinks they can leave good memories to their families before they leave.
Hae-Joon goes to see Byung-Goo. He asks him if he likes fishing. He tells him that he doesn’t want to go fishing alone. They go to the fishing spot. Hae-Joon tells Byung-Goo that he wishes to go fishing alone after he’s retired. Byung-Goo realizes that Hae-Joon does it because his families are terrible.
But Hae-Joon tells Byung-Goo that he changed his mind. He tells him that he wishes someone to be on his side. Byung-Goo agrees to his grandson’s plan. He promises to help him achieve his dream. Hae-Joon tells Byung-Goo not to drink.
Hae-Joon tells Byung-Goo that he likes fishing very much. Byung-Goo sees him eating with Hae-Joon. He smiles. Yoon-Young bikes with her parents. Soon-Ae bikes first. Yoon-Young yells at Hee-Seob that she cannot bike. He wonders why her father didn’t teach it to her.
