Chen Yi isn’t sure when Tian Yao will wake. Yan Hui decides to wait for Tian Yao after she saw the hope. Chen Yi asks Yan Hui how she learned Black Art. She reveals she learned Black Art after she refined Dragon Scale. Chen Yi thinks Xue Lin was just lack of luck.
Yan Hui tells Chen Yi that she prefers not to get the luck if she needs to lose Tian Yao. Chen Yi tells Huan Xiaoyan and Zhu Li to show up. Huan Xiaoyan smiles to walk to Yan Hui. She finds out that her temperament has changed.
Huan Xiaoyan asks Yan Hui if black power cannot hurt her anymore. Yan Hui tells Huan Xiaoyan that Tian Yao suffered when she shows the dragon egg to her. Huan Xiaoyan is surprised that Tian Yao turned into an egg. She thinks it wasn’t Yan Hui’s mistake.
Zhu Li mentions the case of Morning Star Mountain was done by Ling Xiao. He thinks Ling Xiao is a terrible master. He mentions the peace of immortals and monsters is the wish of Chen Yi. He asks Chen Yi when they will stop endure. Chen Yi tells Zhu Li not to ignore the lives for her personal revenge.
Zhu Li thinks they shouldn’t forgive the immortals because they killed Tian Yao. Yan Hui agrees to what Zhu Li said. She thinks she’s suitable for taking revenge because she doesn’t belong to immortal clan and monster clan. She decides to go to visit the immortals after Tian Yao is fine.
Huan Xiaoyan tells Zhu Li to let Yan Hui take a break. She takes him away. Ling Xiao hands over the key of Starry Formation to Zi Chen. He tells her that he grew up demon in his mind. Zi Chen asks Ling Xiao to go to ask Qing Guang a favor. But Ling Xiao tells Zi Chen that Qing Guang is dead.
Episode 33 of Back From the Brink Chinese Drama ends with Yan Hui looking into Tian Yao in the forest. She runs into Lu Musheng. She recognizes him and asks him if he saw Tian Yao. He denies it and reveals he looked for some flowers for Yun Xi.
