Tantai Jin thinks he should find a way to make Ye Xiwu fall for him. The crow brings the snack to Ye Xiwu. Ye Xiwu thinks Pian Ran’s method is very useful. She goes to see Tantai Jin. She asks him why he gave the presents to her. She tells him that she doesn’t like those presents.
Tantai Jin mentions women like those presents. He tells Ye Xiwu to throw away the presents. She smiles to be close to him. She asks him if he intended to make her happy. He nods. She tells him that the person can only be happy if she was given the presents she likes.

Ye Xiwu takes Tantai Jin to the pond. She asks him to watch the stars with her. He asks her if she was bullied by someone when he sits on the swing with her. She denies it and confesses that she missed home when she saw the moon. She tells him that the home is the childhood home.
Ye Xiwu tells Tantai Jin that there was a lake in front of her home. She adds that she lied by the lake to watch stars. She tells him that there were many fireflies in the grass. He summons many fireflies. She’s happy to chase the fireflies.
The bodyguard thinks Tantai Jin cannot attack them. Xiao Lin points out that they will be pushed into Ink River by Jing Army even if they cross Ink River. He thinks Tantai Jin is waiting for their attack. Messenger of Jing Army is caught by the soldiers of Sheng Army.
Nian Baiyu reports to Tantai Jin that Sheng Army got the secret letter. Tantai Jin promotes Messenger after knowing he came back. Ye Xiwu wonders why Tantai Jin called her. She tells him that she didn’t cook for him. He hands over the present to her.
Ye Xiwu opens the present. She sees the black stuff. She asks Tantai Jin about the black stuff. He reveals it’s a star which fell from the sky. She’s surprised that he actually went to look for stars. He tells her that the star is a birthday present for her.
Ye Xiwu invites Tantai Jin to go home with her. He agrees to it. He smiles at her when they’re in the carriage. Ye Xiao mentions Tantai Jin didn’t get into Ye family when Ye Xiwu is eating the birthday noodles. Old Madam Ye thinks it’s reasonable that Tantai Jin didn’t get into Ye family. She tells Ye Xiao to think about the days Tantai Jin took in their family.
Old Madam Ye thinks Tantai Jin didn’t get into Ye family because he thought about the unhappy days he took in Ye family. Ye Xiao tells Ye Xiwu that he’s grateful to Tantai Jin even if he’s the enemy of Sheng Kingdom. He tells her to cherish her husband.
Ye Xiwu runs into the carriage. She hugs Tantai Jin. She feels sorry for taking him to Ye family even if she knows he lived a unhappy life in Ye family. She explains to him that she just thought he’s alone in the palace. She doesn’t expect that he kept staying outside.
Tantai Jin comforts Ye Xiwu. He asks her if she had a happy birthday. She nods. He tells her that he was happy that she took him home even if he didn’t get into Ye family. He takes her to Star Palace. It flashes back. Tantai Jin asks Jing Lanan to take him to Star Palace. Because he knows his mother was buried in the palace. But she’s against it because the place is the imperial tomb.
Tantai Jin takes Ye Xiwu to pay their respect to his mother Consort Rou. Ye Xiwu tells Consort Rou that she’s her daughter-in-law. Tantai Jin thinks his mother will like Ye Xiwu if she can see her. He tells Ye Xiwu to choose the grave she likes.
Tantai Jin asks Ye Xiwu if she likes him. He thinks it’s hard to like someone. He intends to set up a memorial tablet for her mother in Star Palace. But she tells him that he doesn’t have to do that. He mentions she cried when she went to see her mother. Li Susu apologizes to Tantai Jin for telling a lie to him that she’s Ye Xiwu.
Ye Xiwu looks at the soul nails. She wonders why Tantai Jin wished her to like him. She realizes that he has feelings for her. She wonders when she will get the nine nails. She touches the nail. Her finger is hurt by the nail.
Eunuch hands over the battle report of Jing Army to Emperor Sheng. Emperor Sheng is furious to throw away the report after knowing Xiao Lin had ambition. Eunuch tries to calm Emperor Sheng down. Emperor Sheng complains to Eunuch that Xiao Lin thought he’s wasting the people’s money.
Emperor Sheng mentions the chancellors wished him to give the throne to Xiao Lin. Eunuch tells Emperor Sheng that he just overthinks it. Emperor Sheng glares at Eunuch. Eunuch is scared to get on knees to Emperor Sheng. Emperor Sheng thinks Eunuch is the follower of Xiao Lin. He tells the bodyguards to kill Eunuch.
Xiao Lin receives the order from Emperor Sheng. He learns that his father wishes him to cross Ink River within three days. He decides to cross Ink River. The general reminds Xiao Lin that they will be defeated by Tantai Jin if he does so. But Xiao Lin doesn’t want to disobey his father.
Ye Qingyu reports to Tantai Jin that Xiao Lin crossed Ink River. Tantai Jin thinks Emperor Sheng was fooled by them. He tells Ye Qingyu that it’s time to rule the world. Ye Xiwu comes to serve Tantai Jin. But she finds out that he’s missing. She wonders where he went.
Pian Ran reveals Tantai Jin went to Jia Pass. She tells Ye Xiwu that Xiao Lin crossed Ink River. Ye Xiwu wonders why Tantai Jin didn’t take Pian Ran. Pian Ran points out that there’re many generals in Jing Kingdom. She tells Ye Xiwu that her younger brother went to Jia Pass with Tantai Jin.
The general thinks Jing Army didn’t expect that they would attack them. He believes that they’re going to occupy Jia Pass. But Tantai Jin shows up on city tower. He tells his soldiers to retreat to Jia City. Nian Baiyu arrives. He intends to go to fight with Sheng Army.
But Tantai Jin rejects it because he wants to catch Xiao Lin. Xiao Lin tries to shoot Tantai Jin. But he’s beaten back by him. Tantai Jin tells Xiao Lin that he wants to have a talk with him. Xiao Lin walks to Tantai Jin. Tantai Jin tells Xiao Lin that he intends to manage the world with him if he becomes his follower.
But Xiao Lin rejects it. Tantai Jin mentions Xiao Lin has expected that he will be defeated it. He thinks he will occupy Jia Pass if he was late. He thinks Sheng Kingdom will be ruined even if he lets him retreat. He tells him not to fight with him.
Xiao Lin pulls out his sword. Tantai Jin has to fight with Xiao Lin. He tries to kill him. But the dragon scale protects Xiao Lin. Pang Yizhi uses the thunder to attack Tantai Jin. Tantai Jin protects himself and his soldiers with the enchantment.
Till the End of the Moon Chinese Drama: Episode 20 Ending
Episode 20 of Till the End of the Moon Chinese Drama ends with Ye Bingchang complaining to her maid Jia Hui that Xiao Lin didn’t write back to her. She thinks he needs to rely on a powerful man. Tantai Jin doesn’t receive any message from the crow. He asks Nian Baiyu if he asked the crow about it. But Nian Baiyu tells Tantai Jin to ask the crow on his own. Because he thinks it’s his family business.
