Ning Zhiqian asks Ruan Liuzheng about the feelings of coming to Africa. She asks him if he should be happy for seeing him. She reveals she was scared. She buys the ticket. She thinks she did a right choice to get a divorce with him. She walks away.
Ruan Liuzheng runs into the cafe. She apologizes to Senior Dong for her late. Senior Dong lets Ruan Liuzheng taste the coffee. She asks Ruan Liuzheng if Ning Zhiqian is fine. Ruan Liuzheng reveals Ning Zhiqian kept running and drinking.

Ruan Liuzheng wonders why Senior Dong fell for someone else since Ning Zhiqian was nice to her. Senior Dong mentions what she told Ruan Liuzheng that she likes freedom. She tells her that she cannot control her feelings. She asks her where Ning Zhiqian drinks.
Ruan Liuzheng claims that she won’t tell it to Senior Dong. But Senior Dong points out that she can find Ning Zhiqian on her own. Ning Zhiqian drinks at the bar. Ruan Liuzheng smiles to join him. She asks the waiter for a glass. She pours herself a drink.
Ning Zhiqian asks Ruan Liuzheng if she worries that he will kill himself. She admits it and drinks the wine. She tells him to cry to cure his being dumped. But he doesn’t believe what she said. He reveals he studied medicine because there will be an answer.
Ning Zhiqian complains to Ruan Liuzheng that there’s no answer in love. She yells at him and thinks he knows nothing. She thinks he wouldn’t be like that if he spent his time in love. She tells him that he cannot escape the fate of being greened.
Ning Zhiqian carries the drunk Ruan Liuzheng to the school. But the gate is locked. Ruan Liuzheng wakes up. She finds out that she’s in the bed. She sees someone lying on the couch. She wears her glasses. She finds out that the person is Ning Zhiqian.
Ruan Liuzheng wonders why she’s in the hotel with Ning Zhiqian. He explains to her that he took her to the hotel because the gate was closed. He tells her to drink the water. She thanks him for helping him. But she finds out that she got changed. He comforts her that the waitress changed clothes for her.
Episode 3 of Love Heals Chinese Drama ends with Tan Ya telling Ruan Liuzheng to get along with Ding Yiyuan well. She reveals Ding Yiyuan is Dean Gao’s daughter. She adds that Ding Yiyuan had to be Doctor Qian’s student after Ning Zhiqian had rejected her.
Love Heals Chinese Drama: Episode 4 Recap & Ending
Patient follows Ning Zhiqian to the elevator. He tells him that he’s sick because he couldn’t sleep in the evening. Ning Zhiqian ignores Patient. Patient asks Ruan Liuzheng to prescribe him medicine after knowing she’s a doctor as well.
Ning Zhiqian notes that Ruan Liuzheng isn’t in the office. He walks out of the office. He sees her talking with Patient. He calls her and asks her to return to the office. She returns to the office. He finds out that she didn’t complete the task. He tells her that doctors don’t have duty to comfort patients.
Ruan Liuzheng mentions Patient followed him to the restaurant. She thinks he should say something sweet to Patient. He tells the two rookie doctors not to be close to patients. He tells Ruan Liuzheng that he does it for her work. He tells her not to apply too much lipstick. He gives a new task to her.
Doctor Qian praises Ding Yiyuan in the meeting. He tells Ruan Liuzheng to work hard. Ding Yiyuan asks Ning Zhiqian if she can be off duty. He tells her to ask Doctor Qian instead of him about it. Ruan Liuzheng is off duty. Ning Zhiqian drives by. He tells her that he wants to give her a ride.
Ruan Liuzheng rejects it. Ning Zhiqian tells Ruan Liuzheng that he wants to tell something to her. She sighs and gets in his car. She asks him if he’s going to continue to scold her. She finds the toy from his car. She plays it. He tells her not to break the toy. He reveals the toy belongs to his son.
Ruan Liuzheng complains to Ning Zhiqian that he didn’t tell her that he has a son. But he points out that it’s not her business. She tries to get off his car. But he stops her. She has to open the window. She asks him if he had the son after the divorce or before the divorce. Ning Zhiqian reveals he had the son after their divorce. She thinks he’s too fast. She’s furious to get off his car.
Ruan Liuzheng tells her mother that she wants to get married. Madam Ruan thinks Ruan Liuzheng wants to do flash marriage because she knows she doesn’t have a boyfriend. Ruan Liuzheng reveals she has a boyfriend. She adds that he’s a doctor.
Madam Ruan thinks Ruan Liuzheng is pregnant. She tells her that she has many chances. Ning Zhiqian visits Madam Ruan. He gives the presents to her and her families. He reveals he’s Ruan Liuzheng’s teacher. Ruan Liuzheng’s brother Ruan Lang thinks Ruan Liuzheng and Ning Zhiqian are romantic after knowing they’re teacher-student relationship.
Episode 4 of Love Heals Chinese Drama ends with Ding Yiyuan asking Ruan Liuzheng how old is Ning Zhiqian’s son. But Ruan Liuzheng tells Ding Yiyuan to ask Ning Zhiqian about it on her own. Ding Yiyuan is surprised that Ruan Liuzheng doesn’t know about it. She thought Ruan Liuzheng and Ning Zhiqian are close.
