Xiao Fang complains to Beauty Yu that Director Lin treats himself as their boss. Beauty Yu tells Xiao Fang not to put what Director Lin said into her mind. She thinks they will get respected if they work hard for a long time. She tells Xiao Fang not to be sad.
Grandma Zhang walks to Director Lin. She tells him that the money he gave her isn’t enough. He refuses to give more money to her. He tries to leave. Beauty Yu stops him. She asks him to give the salary Grandma Zhang should get to her. He rejects it and mentions the contract.

Zhuang Yu visits Mr. Zhang. He asks him to be his guide. He reveals he wants to go to the mountain to look for artemisia annua. Mr. Zhang is happy to accept the task. But he closes the door after knowing Zhuang Yu wants to study artemisia annua.
Beauty Yu asks Director Lin for the salary. She tells him that she intends to report to brand about what he did. She tells him to give the money to Grandma Zhang. She admits that she wants to help the old lady. Director Lin tells the assistant to give the money to Grandma Zhang. The assistant tells Grandma Zhang that he doesn’t know Beauty Yu after he gave the money to her.
Grandma Zhang thanks Beauty Yu for helping her. Beauty Yu hands over the tea to Grandma Zhang. She tells her to return home because she thinks Mr. Zhang will worry about her. Grandma Zhang is surprised that Beauty Yu knows her son.
Beauty Yu explains to Grandma Zhang that she worries that she will have heatstroke. Mr. Zhang shows up. Grandma Zhang blames her son for his late. She hands over the apples to Beauty Yu. She walks away with her son. Beauty Yu runs into Zhuang Yu when she’s eating the apple.
Beauty Yu asks Zhuang Yu to help her. She reveals her hair is stuck by the branches. He walks to her and helps her. She shows the arm to him. She thanks him for picking up the herb for her. She tells him that she wants to repay him with the marriage.
Zhuang Yu rejects it. He tells Beauty Yu that he cannot enjoy it. So she hands over the apple she just ate to him. He’s close to her. She mistakes that he wants to kiss her. She feels dizzy. He stuffs her mouth with the apple. He tells her to be careful when she walks.
A Romance of the Little Forest: Episode 6 Ending
Episode 6 of A Romance of the Little Forest ends with Lv Jian smiling at Beauty Yu when she unties her hair. The hair clip drops. He walks to her and picks up the hair clip for her. She thanks him and asks him if he lives there. He introduces himself to her.
