Twenty-Five Twenty-One: Episode 1 Recap

Min-Chae rejects it because she thinks she cannot defeat the opponent. She throws the ballet clothes into the trash can. She visits Jae-Kyung and tells her that she’s going to live with her. She sees the medal of Hee-Do. Jae-Kyung eats with Min-Chae. She asks her about her dream. But Min-Chae doesn’t have it. Min-Chae finds Hee-Do’s diary from the drawer. Hee-Do leaks that she kept seeing a kid. Min-Chae learns that her mom had a boyfriend. She continues to read the diary.
Hee-Do goes to school. She tells her classmates that she feels happy because it’s Saturday. She leaves school and runs to the places where people fight for Korean movie. A girl hands over the flower to Hee-Do. Hee-Do is frozen when the petals drop. She throws the flower to the sky like those people. She runs to the fencing room seeing Yu-Rim fencing. Hee-Do tells Twenty-Five Twenty-One that Yu-Rim is her dream.
Hee-Do watches Yu-Rim defeat the player. She is stunned. She decides to become Yu-Rim’s opponent. She throws away her bag and trains herself. But the coach tells Hee-Do that he decides to drop the fencing club. Because he thinks she cannot become Yu-Rim.
Who Ruins Hee-Do’s Dream?
Hee-Do cries to blame the coach for ruining her dream. He points out that her dream was ruined by time. She doesn’t want to give up her dream. Someone tells her to go to Yu-Rim’s world. Yi-Jin delivers the newspapers to the man. But the man scolds him because he was late. Yi-Jin thinks the man should forgive him because it was his first time to deliver newspapers.
Hee-Do asks Jae-Kyung to send her to Yu-Rim’s school because the fencing club of her school was dissolution. But Jae-Kyung rejects it because she thinks her daughter doesn’t have the talent. Hee-Do cries to tell her mom that she will continue to do fencing even if she doesn’t support her. She mentions she sold her father’s ring.
Hee-Do walks out of her house and sees the newspapers hitting the statue. She’s furious to yell at Yi-Jin that he made the peeing boy not pee. She walks into the comic book store. She sees him again. She tells him to save the comic book for her.
Does Chan-Mi Help Hee-Do?
Hee-Do takes a look at the fencing room. The coach Chan-Mi shows up behind her and tells her that there’s no training. Hee-Do recognizes Chan-Mi. She gets on knees to her and asks her to accept her. Chan-Mi points out that Hee-Do doesn’t have talent. She tries to leave.
Hee-Do stops Chan-Mi and tells her to test her. Chan-Mi agrees to test Hee-Do. But Hee-Do needs to transfer to her school first. Hee-Do knows her mom won’t help her transfer. She bumps Bo-Mi and believes that she will have a fight with her. But Bo-Mi tells Hee-Do to take care of her shoulder because she thinks she’s a fencer.
Bo-Mi tells her friends to have a battle with another group. Hee-Do hears the talk and follows them. She reports it to the police and she joins the battle. But the cop doesn’t arrest her because she didn’t run. Yu-Rim walks out of the fencing room after the training.
But it’s raining outside and Yu-Rim doesn’t take umbrella. Hee-Do throws her umbrella to Yu-Rim from the rooftop. Yu-Rim tries to take a look who’s the good person. Hee-Do hides herself and tells Yu-Rim to take care of herself. Hee-Do is happy after she realized that she got into Yu-Rim’s world in the end.
Twenty-Five Twenty-One: Episode 1 Ending
Yi-Jin asks Hee-Do why she pretended to be a bad girl. She tells him that she can only be transferred when she’s a bad girl. He thinks her plan is terrible, giving the book to her. She walks away after knowing his name. Hee-Do asks Jae-Kyung to help her. But Jae-Kyung throws the clothes to the floor and asks Hee-Do to explain it.
Hee-Do confesses that she went to a club. Jae-Kyung is furious to throw away Hee-Do’s comic book. Hee-Do yells at Jae-Kyung that she didn’t care for her. She’s furious to run out of her room. Jae-Kyung tears up. Hee-Do finds her comic book. But the page was torn out by Jae-Kyung.
Hee-Do gets a call from Yi-Jin who asks her to return the comic book to him. She visits him and hands over the book to him. She tries to run away. But he stops her and asks her to explain it. She cries to explain it to him. She runs away.
What’s Chan-Mi’s Test?
Hee-Do waits for Chan-Mi and takes out the sword from her bag. She tells her to test her. Chan-Mi throws the apple to Hee-Do. Hee-Do stabs the apple with her sword. Chan-Mi plays the coin game with Hee-Do. Hee-Do loses her money so that she mortgages her shoes.
But Hee-Do loses again. She complains that the game isn’t related with fencing at all. Chan-Mi points out that luck is very important to a fencer. She accepts Hee-Do even if she doesn’t have any shoe. But she keeps her shoes. Hee-Do is happy to leave Chan-Mi’s office. Chan-Mi wears Hee-Do’s shoes. She thinks Jae-Kyung didn’t tell it to her daughter.
Does Jae-Kyung Meet with Chan-Mi?
It flashes back. Jae-Kyung meets with Chan-Mi and asks her to accept her daughter. Chan-Mi agrees to it because she was drawn by Hee-Do. Jae-Kyung tells Chan-Mi that she doesn’t hate her at all.
Jae-Kyung is on the way home. She sees her dancing on the street after she got accepted. She tells her that she wants to buy her new school clothes. She drives away. Hee-Do chases Jae-Kyung after she realized something. Hee-Do walks out of her house with new school clothes. She thinks she’s going to get into Yu-Rim’s world.
Yi-Jin throws the newspapers to the yard. Hee-Do catches it and tells the good news to him. She forgives him because she’s in a good mood. He feels happy for her and rides the bicycle away.
