Rule the World is a 45 episodes Chinese drama which is adapted by Li Xin‘s Chinese novel Rule the World. It talks about the most beautiful beauty Dong Ge who is destined to revitalize the world and destroy the world. The drama is starred by Raymond Lam and Tina Tang Yixin.

As a novelist, Bu Youran has to find good story to write a novel otherwise she will be fired by her director. She is attracted by the beauty Dong Ge’s story of Qing Dynasty. She visits the imperial tomb and is summoned to Qing Dynasty, entering into Dong Ge’s body.
Dong Ge becomes the object of rights struggle because her beauty and reputation. She is given to Nu Er Ha Chi by her older brother, then loved by Zhu Ying, Dai Shan, Duo Er Gun and Huang Tai Ji. Dong Ge falls in love with Huang Tai Ji after living together. However, they are separated for some reasons. Huang Tai Ji founds the Qing Dynasty in Dong Ge’s help ultimately.
Summary
Bu Youran is writing the novel. She gets a call from the demon Mr. Huang. She doesn’t pick up his phone because she needs to focus on her writing. She gets a call from Xiao An. She picks up the phone this time. Because she cannot continue to write.
Xiao An tells Bu Youran that Mr. Huang threw a fit and he wanted to cancel the contract with her. Bu Youran is shocked. She goes to the office. Xiao An picks Bu Youran up and tells her to admit her mistake first. Bu Youran tells Xiao An that she fears Mr. Huang because she didn’t see him. Xiao An reminds Bu Youran that it’s related to the renewal of the contract.

Bu Youran walks into the office. She finds out that Mr. Huang isn’t there. She tries to leave. But he keeps her through the laptop. He tells her that she’s the worst in the writers. She’s furious to have a seat. She tells him that she worked hard for him. He tells her not to think about the contract of next year if she cannot achieve the goal. She’s furious to throw away the laptop. She thinks he’s a jerk.
The guy drives Bu Youran to the tomb of Buxiya Mala. She wishes to find the inspiration there. Bu Youran worries that she will be lost after she got into the underground palace. The friend tells Bu Youran not to give up because the tomb is very luxurious.
The guy spots the tombstone and asks the two girls to come to take a look. The girl finds out that the tomb belongs to Buxiya Mala. The guy walks into the tomb and tells Bu Youran to take a look at the place. She begins to take photos of the portrait. But she hears someone calling her. She’s startled.
It flashes back. The priest tells Nuer Hachi that Dong Ge can help him rule the world. Nuer Hachi is happy to lift Dong Ge. He thinks she and the world belong to him.
Bu Youran passes out. She studies the history at home. She learns that Buxiya Mala is also called Prince Dong Ge. She’s the first beauty of Nvzhen Kingdom. She married seven times. She gets a call from Devil Huang. He reveals he has read the papers she sent.
He tells her that he will renew her contract if the story can save her views. She’s happy to tell him that she will create a legend role. She reveals the role is the first beauty of Nvzhen Kingdom.
Buxi Yamala is also called Princess Dong Ge. She was born from Yehe Tribe, Nvzhen Kingdom. There were many lords in Nvzhen Kingdom. Dong Ge became Yehe Tribe’s tool because she’s called the first beauty. Yehe Tribe was defeated in the nine tribes battle. Dong Ge’s father Bu Zhai was killed by Nuer Hachi. Her older brother Bu Yanggu married her to her enemy Nuer Hachi for getting along with Jian State well. Nuer Hachi had to controlled her in Jian State because she insisted on not marrying him.
Dong Ge looks at herself in the mirror. She asks the maid Ge Dai to take down the hairpin for her. Dong Ge explains it to Ge Dai that she needs to go to race with a few princes. She thinks she shouldn’t have her hair down. She smiles when Ge Dai wonders which hairstyle Dong Ge wishes to get.
